It is a school that rejects negative competition among students, in order to encourage friendly and mutually beneficial collaboration. It is a school for those who are aware, or at least willing to understand, that: 1. true art is 50% sweat and 50% talent, and therefore requires the utmost passion, ethical integrity, psychological consistency, and effort; 2. the possibility of finding work in this field, as in others, depends above all on professional competence and human qualities.
The conditions required for admission to the Maldoror Film school are therefore: 1. the quality of the motivation that leads one to choose this profession; 2. a real awareness of the demands it entails; 3. the necessary will to face and meet them with seriousness and pleasure.
The school accepts a limited number of students (eight), so as to provide serious, practical, and personalized training.
Even though access to training requires a financial contribution from students, it is a school where art and technique are considered above all as an ethical and aesthetic activity, and consequently an economic one, which allows not only the acquisition of a concrete trade, but also the practice of it with the best contribution of intelligence and sensitivity.

Maldoror Film' School: enrollments open

Monday, September 4, 2006

The "Maldoror Film" School in Rome celebrates its twentieth year of existence and opens enrollments for courses in Cinema-TV-Video, Photography, Acting and Dubbing.
Those interested are invited to visit the website http://www.scuola-cinema-recitazione.com or call 06 44 64 734.

Founded in 1986, it is not a school in the traditional sense of the word, in traditional premises, with traditional teaching. It is a "workshop," a laboratory within the Maldoror Film studio, where students are in contact with real work, and training is provided by the staff of Maldoror Film
.
